Abstracts, surgical videos, and case presentations are now being accepted for presentation consideration at the 2025 STS Coronary Conference, an international event taking place June 12–14, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Submit your work for consideration and the opportunity to present alongside experts from around the globe.

Important! The STS Coronary Conference is excited to partner with the Society’s open-access journal, Annals of Thoracic Surgery Short Reports, featuring research from the Coronary Conference. Annals Short Reports is now indexed in PubMed Central, meaning published research will be viewable in standard PubMed literature searches. Benefits to authors submitting their STS Coronary Conference research to Annals Short Reports are as follows: 

  • Expedited peer review and online publication of accepted research 

  • Waived open-access article processing charges for select articles, and/or 50% reduced fees for STS Members (corresponding author must be STS Member)

  • Abstract authors may opt-in or opt-out of full manuscript submission to Annals of Thoracic Surgery Short Reports

Submission Deadline: March 28, 2025

An abstract must have a short, specific presentation title that indicates the nature of the presentation. Use title case; Do not enter information in all upper case or in quotation marks.
Include a brief statement on the intent of the study and the current state of research in the field. Specifically, describe the quality gap (limitation or problem) within the practice of Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting that this research addresses.
The methods of the study or experimental approach should be clearly and briefly defined.
Provide a summary of the study findings, including sufficient details to support those conclusions.
Include a statement concerning the significance of the work and its implications for further research. In what way might the results of this project supplement or inform clinical or research knowledge or strategies?
