Summary
An international panel of experts will provide up-to-date insight on the management of patients with prosthetic aortic endocarditis. The discussion is based on a real patient presented by an early career surgeon. In addition to a review of current guidelines, indications, and preoperative imaging studies from cardiology, the panelists will also relate different options and substitutes for the treatment and management of complications such as septal/root abscess and involvement of the mitral valve. The panel will also share how treatment approaches may change depending on the availability of off-the-shelf homografts.
This webinar will be conducted in Spanish, with English closed captions provided.
