A diverse panel of surgeons and cardiologists from Latin America and the United States will discuss the current management of patients with bicuspid aortic valve. Presenters will explain internationally accepted nomenclature and classification by its main developer, as well as comment on the pros and cons and short and mid/long-term outcomes of SAVR and TAVR in this challenging population. The panel will address other surgical options such as Ross operation, ascending aorta/root replacement, and biological vs. mechanical prosthesis.  

The session will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.
