Conference Information

Be the voice of the cardiothoracic surgery specialty in Washington, DC—register to attend the 2023 STS Advocacy Conference. During this 2-day event, held October 17-18, STS members will meet with members of Congress and their staff to help influence healthcare policy and champion causes important to CT surgeons and their patients. Attendees will receive training for their meetings and opportunities to engage with STS leadership. 

Attendance and scholarships are available only to STS members who reside in the United States.

By registering, you are confirming you will be available on October 17–18 in Washington, DC for the entirety of the conference, including the full day of meetings on October 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET. 

Costs associated with official activities taking place during the Advocacy Conference are covered by STS. Costs related to travel, lodging, and other meals are the responsibility of each participant. 

Registration for the 2023 STS Advocacy Conference is now closed. However, STS is seeking member delegates from some specific states. Contact advocacy@sts.org to confirm if your attendance is requested.
